We declare the world as our canvas

This weekend, at our Art Club, we discussed about street art.

Street art is a kind of visual art practiced on the street. Our presenter showed us some street art pictures that he took from different places. We had an interesting discussion about street artists' motivation, locations and techniques as well as government's point view and restrictions. The presenter also showed us some work from the most famous street artists.

Whereas traditional graffiti artists have primarily used free-hand aerosol paints to produce their works, "street art" encompasses many other media and techniques, including: LED art, mosaic tiling, murals, stencil art, sticker art, street installations, wheat pasting, wood blocking, video projection, and yarn bombing.

Here are some pieces that I found amazing from the street art utopia. http://www.streetartutopia.com/

We can also apply this technique to indoor decoration and make our home a more interesting place to be.

If you are interested in street art,  a documentary film called "Exit Through the Gift Shop" is good to watch.
Enjoy!
