Côte d'Azur -Marseille by train

Marseille, a beautiful city under the blue clear sky, a city I always wanted to visit since I started to learn French... we had a big adventure...almost missed our cruise...Haha!

A very impressive city by the Mediterranean coast- Marseille, the largest commercial port in France, is also a dreaming land.

We wandered at the vieu port for the whole morning, watching people fishing and selling crafts. Then we took a little train to visit the beautiful Marseille Bay area. We climbed to the high hills of Notre Dame de la Garde church, then, we walked through the city back to Gare de Marseille Saint-Charles,
We took the train back to the little town where our cruise docked. But we need to take a taxi back to our cruise. However, we could not find taxi on the street! I asked everywhere, people were saying:" Desole, il n'y a pas de taxi dans la rue ici! " - we need to call and book it in advance!

We finally had to take the boat and then run so quickly towards our cruise! We almost missed it!
