Capitol hill

We visited Capitol Hill, home of the United States Capitol and Grounds, Senate, House of Representatives, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and Botanic Garden. At the end of our visit, we took a photo with our lovely tour guide.

Washington D.C.

It has been more than 10 years since my last visit to Washington D.C. This was also the first time for Lily and mom to see the USA capital city. The weather was a little bit chilly, but the city and the White House still welcomed us with its clean streets and beautiful Christmas decorations.

Philadelphia - Freedom is not free

It is a good class for Lily's social studies. She started to understand North American history and why freedom is not free.

Declaration of Independence

I found the scripture of the Declaration of Independence on the street of Philadelphia quite interesting. It is very unique and artistic. When I was standing in front of it,  Lily took dozens of picture of me, declaring that I need independence. :)
