We went to wherever our hearts took us. No tour guide, no map, aimless like homeless and enjoyed the pure freedom. One afternoon, close to Parque Mexico. we found a cute and exotic restaurant with chairs and tables on the sidewalk. We sat down and indulged ourselves in sensual music from the bar. There were a lot of vendors come and go, searching for business. An old man approached us and asked if we wanted our shoes to be polished. We relaxed and enjoyed his service. A man from Indian came to us with a big bag of clothes and he started to show us piece by piece. Then, a little boy asked us if we would like to buy some DVD movies and he opened his big case of hundreds of DVDs in front us.
By the time we almost finished eating, a young lady appeared in front of our table. She dressed with a long purple skirt, very thin and pale, with pretty big eyes. She looked quite serious, different that other vendors, no smile on her face. "How do you know about our future?" we joked a bit with her. She told us our palms and the set of poker in her hand will tell her. "How do you want to be paid?" She said, "pay me as your heart desires."
I don't believe a human could steel God's plan. Sissy gave the girl her right hand. She asked: "What do you want to know about your life, health, love, fortune or work?" I jumped for Sissy: "Love, of course!" Sissy hesitated and said: "Health".
She looked very carefully in her palm, and she started to utter:"you are a very healthy person, you won't have any healthy problems... however, there is someone in your family who has been waiting for a baby badly, she is going to have a baby very soon." I translated for Sissy and asked her in Chinese if there is anybody in her family wanted a baby, Sissy said:"My sister."
Then, Sissy asked for love. The young girl looked into her palm and read:" You have somebody living with you now. He is taking care of you and he loves you. However, you are going to meet someone in the near future, and this man will be your soul mate. All the dreams that did not fulfilled in your childhood will come true and you will live in a peaceful happiness."
"Who is this person and when I will meet him?" Sissy became curious. The young girl looked at Sissy's palm and said without expression:" This man is from a different country than yours. You are going to meet him very soon. That's all what your palm tells me. If you want to know more, we have to ask my poker, and you need to pay 500 pesos."
What a fortune teller! I asked Sissy if she believed what we heard. Sissy said: "hmm, I am wondering, if I really meet this person, what should I do with my husband?"
